Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Wordsmith collects the information you provide when you create an account (name, email, authentication identifiers from Google sign-in) and the content you submit to the editor (manuscripts, essays, editorial chat). We use this information solely to operate the service for you.

User content is stored on Neon, a managed Postgres provider, with encryption in transit and at rest. We use third-party model providers (Inception Labs and OpenAI) to generate editorial suggestions; your content is sent to these providers solely for this purpose, under standard API terms. We do not sell user data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing or analytics purposes.

We use cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and operate the editor. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated to active users by email.

To request deletion of your account or for any question about your data, email euwyn.goh@gmail.com or yash.wanvari@gmail.com.
